I have joined the board of trustees of the brilliant Eclipse Theatre Company and attended my first meeting this week.
The company's mission is To influence and instigate change that leads to a more diverse and equitable theatrical landscape and I feel privileged to be invited to contribute to the realisation of that significant ambition. There's lots to do but the opportunities for the company are immense.
My first task is to support incoming Chair Stella Kanu and the team in the recruitment of a new artistic director and an executive producer:
I will also be looking at international opportunities for the company's excellent Slate creative development programme, which I am really excited about.
